sears and should be 10mm

depending if your swapping out a m/c you may also need a 12mm

'97 itr rear calipers use an 11mm for future reference. your good with the 10mm

10mm is the correct size, make sure the nut is clean of dirt and rust and crap like that because the flare is a direct fit. Sometimes what i do is make sure its straight on and hit it down with another wrench. But 10mm is the correct size.

you should have posted prior to starting the project. 10mm is the right size for non abs hondas. they are a pain to get off, especially on the MC and the prop valve.

what i did was let them soak in wd-40 for a whole day (through out the day continuing the soak). this allowed some to break loose, for others i hit them up with a torch. this allowed the rust to free up allowing me to break them loose.

unfortunately, 2 lines where just not going to move. i ended up stripping them. so i cut and tried to re-flare them, but there was no success. i spent $140 on 2 new hardlines from Honda. the first was a breeze, it was the left front line. the other took me 7 hours, it was the right rear.

so be aware that you might have to resort to replacing the old lines with new ones.

either this is what I am going to do
1 take off the intake mantifold today which is going to be a bitch because the 12mm nut under the intake mantifold in the middle is a bitch to get off and use some vise grips to take off the other lines

2 maybe try using wd-40 what you siad eariler but I am telling you the 10mm just like strips it out

3 I have no clue but take the damn motor out I really didnt know it was this freaking hard to change a damn proportion valve it would be so much easiler if it was like the da models there easy.
