Where can I get a shift **** with an attached shift boot for a del Sol?
I know that this sounds like a really dumb question, but I need a shift **** for the del Sol that will attach to a shift boot, so there is no gap between the two, kind of like how the stock Prelude shifters are. Where would I find one of these?
Also, when installing it, I assume that I am going to have to take off the center console, because when I was installing another shift boot, I couldn't think of any other way to do it without breaking something.

you can just wrap some electrical tape around the shifter and pull the boot over it so it stays. thats how i have mine and you cant tell.

You could probably get a shift **** and boot from a Prelude or Accord. You will have to attach the boot to the metal ring on the Sol which mounts to the console, then you will be set.

Re: (toyzbus)
I just wrapped a rubber band around the sifter and doubled it over until the boot would stay up on it. Now it sits right agianst my Spoon shifter and for no extra money!

i would say, go to hardware store and stick a heavy rubber washer/seal that fitsunder the shiftboot but doesnt slide all the way down the shifter. this way tyhe shift boot will not pass the washer and create the gap. you can place the washer and put the shiftboot over it. then screw down the shiftknob and it will just push the washer down the shiftknob. and being flexible it will expand accordingly.
