Default where can i get my gsr insalled

i need to know where i can get my gsr swapped into my civic.
i will have the y7 that i am running now out of my car and they just need to swap it in and wire vtec
thank you
by the way i live in montebello next to the 60 605 10 and 5 freeway

dude, there's plenty of shops in so cal that can do swaps. just go to some local meets and ask where people go for swaps. You might even find someone mechanically inclined enough to do it fo less money at their house for much less than a shop.

well its just that i am trying to do this by tommorow
i can probably do it my self and i dont want to chanc breaking anything cause i dont have a cherry picker.
so i really ment is there any shops localy thats someone can refer me to where they will charge me a decent price.

true, but if he doesn't ahve a GOOD manual & a GOOD, COMPLETE tool set, and has only done an oil change a swap would be a real problem for him. Not saying that that's his case, but some people come in and talk about swaping a motor when they barely know how to do a basic oil change and tuneup.

okay i appreciate people looking at my problem but i never asked how to do a swap how hard it will be to do a swap or what i need to do a swap 'i am jst simply asking if there is anyone that knows a good shop localy that i can take my car to to have it worked on
i dont want to take my motor to a shop and find out theres is **** that i need that i dont need and i end up getting ripped off

ok then, maybe we can help you with the not getting ripped off part. we know you have the swap, name the parts you have for the swap. i.e. motor, tranny, shift linkage... ect. name EVERYTHING you have and what car its going into

i have pretty much the compete swap i have axels from a gsr ecu a jdm tranny
shift linkage mounts and starter
and how do i know if its a jdm tranny

I don't think they made the jdm gsr tranny any different than the usdm gsr tranny.

yeah that sounds like everything to me. you're gonna meed simple thigs like fluids as well.

i'd have to agree, although i've head of this. jdm gsr trannys came with lsd from the factory...? idk something to look into

If you really need someone to do the swap for you i could do it. But like said there is alot of people/shops out here in So. Cal, best thing to do would be go off reference. Also do you want this swap to be BAR legal or just a basic swap.

some people just cant do it themself, becuase of no space to do it. like me, i live in a apartmetn that doesnt even let u do oil changes yet alone swap.
