where can i find a shell? 92-95 hatch/sedan ??

Default where can i find a shell? 92-95 hatch/sedan ??

im lookin for a 92-95 hatch or sedan shell for cheap. anybody know where i can look. im really just looking for a body(ok if its rough cond) and frame(must be straight), and maybe a dash.. i have a motor im going to build and i can get interior/ext stuff anywhere... can anybody direct me to a website or anywhere that might be able to hook me up.. i tried autotrader/ebay/partstrader and i couldnt really find anything stripped. got any ideas? thanks...

oh and about how much do you guys think i could find one for? i need as cheap as possible.. poor mans project here

A junkyard MIGHT be able to help. An old CX with a blown motor MIGHT be considered by some to be a junker, because it's not worth fixing. That'd be the ONLY place I'd know to even START for what you're asking.

i tried most of the local yards, and none of them sell shells? they pretty much all said the same thing.. none of their cars have titles so they cant sell em? anyways, the search continues.. preciate it

Ooooohhh. Never thought of that. The shell comes with a VIN, and it's have to be a "reconstructed" title.

I've heard that's a GIANT pain in the BUTT.

Find some POS hatch that some schmuck is selling somewhere with body damage and a bad engine - and pull all the bad crap out. That might be easier.
