Where can I find this lip spoiler? (pic)
Looking for this lip spoiler... replicas okay, as long as fitment's not too bad. I searched "ctr lip spoiler, ek spoiler, lip spoiler" etc, with no results, but I found this pic in the official EK thread...
Anyone know where to get it cheap? And I need it for a 99-00 front end? Do they make that?

He is correct and they do make them for your 99-00 front end. I would also suggest you getting a CTR front grill (30 bucks for the replica), it makes the front end flow much better in my opinion. good luck

Re: Where can I find this lip spoiler? (boostd92)
That's a '96-98 CTR chin spoiler (or replica of), and no, they don't make it for a '99-00 Civic because the '99-00 bumper cover is completely different. Get a '99-00 CTR chin spoiler.

1.) Yes and
2.) not OEM quality but decent enough that most people won't notice the difference.

Re: Where can I find this lip spoiler? (Archidictus)
Those two websites carry authentics at big bucks... I'm looking for a replica.
I searched jdmsh!t.com, and though they had the CTR replica spoiler for the 96-98, I couldn't find it for the 99-00.
Anyone else find it?

maybe because the 99-00 ctr chin spoiler is the same as the si's so you can pick them up at the dealer, ebay, or anywhere else honda parts are found.

Either you didn't bother to look at the picture, or you're just retarded.
It's not an Si/Type-R chin spoiler... it's the JDM Civic Type-R (?) spoiler... and if I wanted to pay dealer prices, this thread wouldn't exist.

Does the picture at the top really not show?? Does that look like the spoiler in that picture?
Sorry man, this is getting frustrating... if you can't see the picture in the first post, let me know, and I'll try to fix it.
The only difference is that I have a '00. But I want the spoiler STYLE of that in the picture I posted.

Sorry I got hostile. I thought the thread was simple enough.
"This is what I want, but I have a 00, where can I get it"
I didn't think it would cause mass confusion.
..and I did search.... again, as I originally posted.
So...
If anyone knows where I can get a 96-98 STYLE CTR lip spoiler, that will fit (like OEM) my 2000 Civic DX, please reply. Otherwise, I think we're clear.

it's cool! but i'm afraid there is not a chin spoiler like that for a 99-00 civic. sorry, but, there's always this one:
(i will remove photo if asked )

Re: (boostd92)
The only way you could get the 96-98 CTR front spoiler on your 00 Civic is to do a
96-98 front-end conversion. The two front ends are completely different even though
they look very similar. The hood, fenders, bumper, headlights are all different.
And since the 99-00 front end has 3 grill holes in it, there is no way an aftermarket
company could design a lip spoiler similar to the 96-98 CTR one that would fit it...

STREETSTYLER doesn't have that lip for a 99-00, only 96-98
I think 94eg is right... and that sucks. but I already have cf hood, and a custom PPG (white) paint job, and I'm not gonna do a whole front end conversion...
especially since people like the 99-00 better when trying to sell the car... I'll just stick with the c-west I have for now... it desperately needs a huge FMIC to make it look right

Re: (boostd92)
I have the Carbon fiber version in stock for your ride. Fitment is flawless and I'd have to rate quality a 10 out of 10. smooth finish, NO screw-ups in weave, hardware and pre drilled ready for install.
(advantage of pre-drilled is so that you won't crack it or leave frayed edges.)
email me for more info. jemmarck@hotmail.com
Can easily be shipped to the windy city with a tracking number and two day delivery service.
We sell the same carbon fiber lip in for integra DAs as well. They're big sellers in L.A. right now. No one has these carbon fiber versions in stock at the present moment. We had these custom made for us in groups of twelve.
let me know.

I really hope you read the thread.
Send me a pic, or post it up. If it's really a 96-98 style CTR lip for a 99-00 bumper, you'll have a sale.
If it's just a regular 99-00 CTR spoiler, I'm going to shoot myself in the face.

Re: Where can I find this lip spoiler? (boostd92)
We recieved your email. A response has been sent with several pics.
Just verified availability.
We have the following Carbon Fiber lips for your '99-'00 civic in stock.
Spoon Style
Mugen Style
Jun Style
Type R style.
(limited quantity sides skirts and rear lips available too.)
We deal in ONLY Carbon Fiber lips.
reason being is because we don't care to get into the market of haggling or clients nickel & diming for the poly urethane or fiber-glass versions. That market is burnt thanks to certain self proclaimed "JDM" related web-sites.
We deal in the Carbon Fiber lips because our studies show that these clients are less likely to whine about paying for quality parts! Our clients have a budget in mind and know what they want...
...just keep'n it real
any questions? just hit us up...
