I need a honda flywheel for my d17a2. however i dont want to go to any dealership cuz they always ask me for a VIN # and i have a leased car. I am worried about them investigating as to why i would buy a flywheel for a leased car if i am not "working on it" during the time of the lease. The reason i need the flywheel is because im installing a new oem clutch kit. please help thx.

im sorry but whats wrong with doing maintenance to a leased car? Not trying to be an *** just never leased a car

you can find oem parts for sale in the sponsor forum here on HT or classifieds if u want something used.

if the clutch is worn out, doesnt the warrenty cover it, or is that up? and y are u changing the flywheel in the first place

If you have a daily that you have to rely on can you sit around with out a working car? I sure as hell wouldn't want to bum a ride off some one because I have to wait for my flywheel to get resurfaced.

i got my flywheel resurfaced last week, took them 10 min and i waited there while they did it.. and only cost me 25... seems cheaper than buying a new one

ah, i never had it done before. I thought it would take a day or two.. Maybe its just depends on how busy your machine shop is.
