Default Where to buy a complete d15b?

hmotorsonline use to have the complete d15b swap w/ lsd for $800...but now a days they dont have it.

Does anybody know where to get a complete d15b for a decent price?

jhppusa.com or ard in san diego had them too im sure hmotors still has them maybe not as cheap

and i believe he is talking about the JDM D15B.

ttt yes i tried recycler and h-t classifieds all day. And yes im looking for the jdm d15b, not the d15b7s dx or the d15b8s cx.

Its hard to find complete JDM D15B's these days...all of the sites I have seen only sell the longblocks with an optional tranny and ECU. Do you have a D-series in your car already? You can use the stock mounts, linkage, and axles with a JDM D15B which is why they dont come as complete swaps.

I got mine from here: 1-305-685-2550....ask for Charlie Nunez....I paid $550.00 for the engine AND tranny....

When using the D15b vtec, I would recommend using the P08. The engine is designed to use that specific ECU. The d15b and the d16z6 are not identical engines, don't use the same cams, in fact, I don't even think they have the same bore+stroke combo......given that info, why would you want to use an ECU from a different engine?

You can use p06 ecu, but I think you might have to chip it.

you can use a p06 ecu
but you have to install a vtec switch and a few other things
just easier to get the correct ecu or get a p28 and chip it

I got my JDM D15B from this place in Cali called Makoto Auto Trends. It came with the (AUTO) tranny attached. You can call John at 800-622-9597 or send an email to MAC1AUTOPARTS@aol.com and get their prices - here is the other info:
