when wiretucking and soldering, should ecu be removed due to solder heat?

Default when wiretucking and soldering, should ecu be removed due to solder heat?

when wiretucking and soldering the harness, can the ecu be damaged from the heat of the solder and gun? should i just remove the ecu first before i heat and solder the wires or does it not matter?? will using somethn metal to absorb the heat work?

just to be safe on your side disconnect if u want but first disconnect the neg cable on your battery...
