So at idle it runs fine but as soon as to touch throttle it fall on its face but at a certain rev the battery light kicks on, but to how it started, I hit a water puddle that was deeper then expected and my belt started screeching and I was about 2500 on rpm then stopped screeching and battery light came on and started losing power, belt is still on, I know my timing cover is off but that wouldn't effect battery light would it, has a b18b1 in in with no ps or ax so just alt running on it

See before it would die randomly like it had moisture in cap, I would take cap off wipe and put cap back on and it would run fine, put cap on and it still did it, then same night I put cap on that happened, I'm just lost and getting tired of the way this car is going

Ok so when its cold and I first start it it's fine for a couple seconds then batt light kicks on but now it's warm the battery light stays on and when I rev it flickers off if you rev high and stay it just about stays off but *** soon as you let of its right back, figured if I tell everything someone could know easier

your alternator might of crapped out or voltage regulator fried from the water

Test your alternator and check/replace the belts.
