When I pump gas and then turn on my car the idle drops to 200 rpm for 10 seconds, why?

When I pump gas and then turn on my car the idle drops to 200 rpm for 10 seconds, why?
My last thread about this went to crap because people misread it.
what are the potential problems? something to do with the evap system? the car is a 2000 celica gt-s , so its not a honda but still an import.

oh you should have said it like that the first time
wow idk it could be a prob with you pump
that sounds kinda serious
poss. take it to a dealer?

ill check out the pump. I had the car checked out and they said something with the evap might be f-d up but they said its a big system and would take a long time to find what the exact problem was through trial and error. it is a year 2000 model. thanks for the help
