what the? r u serious? If you are I guess I can say something. City means when your driving on the streets and you got stop and go. Highway meaning when youre at a constant speed. You'll never get highway mpg because of traffic these day so only pay attention to city. At least in L.A

i think what he means, is if your going 30 mph for a long time is that considered highway because it isn't stop and go?

i think city is anything under 45mph and highway is anything above, even if your on the highway it can be considered city because of traffic.

It really doesn't matter if you are trying to go by the numbers posted. All numbers posted by car manufactures are skewed.

1.8L = 1.79L
5.0 really means 4.9
HP is Flywheel not WHP

what ever it is it all depends on how you drive and your daily habits

The numbers are good for a guess

City is stop and go
Highway is a constant speed not over 50 (you lose efficiency above 50)

Anytime you're not on the highway you're in the city.
