when to change timing belt

Re: when to change timing belt (ZUL8R)
4th gens, the recomendation was 90k. 105k sounds about right for your vintage. BTW, according to the information I've come accross, there is no way to reliably assesss the condition of a timing belt by giving it a visual inspection, unless of course there is obvious major damage to it.

Re: when to change timing belt (trav)
Q: When do you change your timing belt?
A: Before it breaks and deep-6's your whole car.
If you think it may need changed, change it. It's not too hard a job and it's not too expensive...especially compared to a new engine.

definatley inspect the inside of the teeth for wear
if there is cracking or any signs of wear replace it.
it IS 105,000 miles or 60k in extreme cold or heat.
