Default Wheels and Tires Question

I just bought a pair of P225/40ZR16's online, and i'm waiting for them to arrive. I didn't do ample research beforehand and now have realized that these tires, and this size in general is only approved for rim widths of 7.5-9.0... My wheels are 16X7 ICW's. With that being said, let me first make it perfectly clear that I am going to try to mount them regardless of the standard, and if I can get the bead to set, I am going to run the **** out of them. I guess, I am looking for someone who has run into this before and has first hand experience, maybe a little reassurance. As far as trying to discourage me from this, nothing short of "my friend did this once, he is no longer with us" will work (I cannot return the tires) Thanks all!

you should post this in the wheels and tires forum if you are looking for a quicker response. and perhaps put a better title so that it will get proper attention.

Those are rather wide, but my BFG Drag Radials are 225's and fit just fine. My only concern/criticism is that i ran a 40 profile tire on my old EJ8 and i hated the ride quality....
