Default how to torque selonoid

how do i torque my vtec selonoid with a socket wrench people are saying like 8 pound torque on it but i dont know how to do it

for small specs like that i just go hand tight. get it down until your wrench/ratchet stops, then give it another 1/4-1/2 turn.

yes this is a good rule of thumb.
those bolts are small and the threads will strip easilly if you try and do some guttentight on it.

could having the bolts too tight cause it to leak? because it has honda bond and still continues to leak.

my torque wrench is built in, hold ratchet with one hand the head of the ratchet around the middle of your palm and turn it as hard as your wrist can and your set.



If its still leak either the seal is cocked or maybe the seal isnt in the groove.
