straight pipe but no check engine light?
so my cars been choking like when accelerating, round 1.5-3.5 rpm..my car feels like its chokin and not gettin any speed. it would get stuck around that rpm and when it passes 4 itll start picking up. so i thought it was a clogged CAT so i straight pipe it but my engine light is off is that normal isnt it suppose to be on? Also, what could be the problem only think i can think of is the dizzy.

If the O2 sensor is mounted in front of the straight pipe, it won't matter. Bogging in that RPM range can be several things.....bad gasoline, clogged fuel filter, bad spark plugs/wires, etc.

That depends on how "kind of" smashed in they are. Since you're running OBD1, a straight pipe won't create a CEL (but it's still federally illegal, and won't pass inspection in most states).
Check your mechanical and ignition timing. While you're at it, pull your plugs and inspect them. Either post pictures of all of them so we can help you possibly diagnose them, or compare them to this image to see if there are any engine problems. It's not 100%, but it's a great starting point.

Love it when people start throwing parts at cars! Then they say I dont understand... Do some test
Fuel pressure
Spark (test Coil, and other parts of dizzy)
Compression test
Timing
