Wheel Painting Q: Aircraft Stripper? Safe on tires?
I am about to take some Aircraft Stripper to a set of HX wheels I just got. Tires are still mounted on the wheels.
I know this stuff is really strong and potent, but will it mess up the tire if I get some on it?

That stuff is very very strong. Use it only outside or in a very well ventilated area. When i took the paint of my motorcycle wheels i used that aircraft paint remover. I took my tires off just to be safe. If u can't or dont want to do that. I would atleats tape off ur tires or cover them up somehow.
