Wheel Locknut Problem
I bought my Si used from a private party dealer. I have a problem. After having my car checked for an alignment, the shop needed to check for a torque steer. They needed the locknut. Problem is I never got any locknuts for my car. I called the guy and he said he didn't have them and possibly the locknuts on my car right now may be the Honda ones. They are 'star' shaped. Are those the Honda nuts? Is there any way I can get the wheels off? Are there any universal locknut 'taker-offers'? Could I take it to a rim shop and have them remove the nuts for me? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I took a second look at it and it doesn't seem to have 'locks' on them, but they are just regular 'star' shaped nuts.

If they are HONDA locknuts, then take it to Honda. Honda has a master key for their Honda locks.
If not, then go buy yourself a Gator Grip socket set at your local department store. That **** worked for me. Cost $20.

is there some sort of pattern on one of the lug nuts? if so then u need the key. if all your nuts are just star-sided, then you can try using gator grip or you can try to look for a key/adapter to take them off. make sure u've checked the glove compartment and trunk/jack bag for the key it might be somewhere in the car. good luck
