Default Wheel Bolt

Yeah I broke a tip of those antitheft wheel bolts on my parents accord (fucken idiots at the shop didn't torque them right). The tip is competly broken off but the nut itself is still on. What do you suggest I use to get it off, torching it off is my last resort.

Get a set of bolt outs, if the tip of the nut isn't broken too far back on the stud. Do a search for bolt or stripped threads, and there will be pics of what they look like. I've seen quite a few over the past week.

That **** won't take it off, even if it fit in there, I would have no way in hell to take it off because the lug nuts were torqued down so much that I had to use a breaker bar to break them loose.

i use either a press fit socket (comes as a kit to remove wheel locks with no key) if i want to save the wheel lock, or i use an air chisel with chisel bit if i just want to remove them but do not care about the lug itself. any repair shop worth a grain of salt has both of these tools. good luck.

Tried that today I guess there isn't enough of that lag nut left to actually grab it. What else do you suggest?

Vice grips? You'd be amazed how much force those things exert.

I think if I couldn't break it loose with a breaker bar before lug nut broke, I don't think vice grips would help. Is there any chance I can punch thru it with a chizzle?
