wut kind of press do i need to take out and put in a wheel bearing

i just used a round hammer the same size and put it there and hit it with another hammer nice and square... took some time but worked going out and back in.

A hydraulic press. If there's a napa or pepboys they may have one (and only a 50/50 chance they'll put a nifty gouge in your seating areas). You can slide hammer em off and bang em back in but you risk distorting things (free rent tools from autozone). Why are you doing wheel bearings? If its noise while turning make sure it's not your power steering.

This tool will work but you have to watch because the rear of the bearing will try to push out when you are putting the spindle back in. I agree that a press is the best way to go but if you do not have access to one then this will work.

We use a 20 ton press.

if it was removing a hub for lug studs or something i say use a slide hammer, but for wheel bearing i think you'd be better off going to a shop with a press.

If you want to make it a little cheaper for yourself you can remove the arms yourself and take them in, most of the work is removing them from the car.
