Whay engine is in my 96 Civic Si
Im wondering what engine is in my 1996 Civic Si. Also I want to swap it for somethnig much bigger and something I can really built and maybe put forced induction later on. What about b18C???

96 Civic Si: I am assuming you are located somewhere like Canada. Then you have a D16 motor. And a B18C would be good. Perhaps even better for forced induction would be a B18B.

Thanks,
I been reading and I think the B18C will be a good bet for me... I like the torque it gives out for the HP and the redline is high

yes but what if you blew it. What a waste of a beautiful piece of machinery. Get the B18B. Much cheaper

LS/VTEC is the way to go in my opinion. A B18C is expensive, but it is also an incredible swap. I like the LS motors for boost anyways.

Are you joking?
That's like saying:
"Why waste money getting a newer car? What if you wreck it? Buy a 1985 Camaro, it's cheaper."
Or:
"Why buy a B series? What if you blow it? That'll be a waste. Keep your 70hp CX engine, it's cheaper."
