Anyone know what the 96-00 Civic Coupes weigh from the factory? Particularly the 99-00 Civic Si? Anyhow, I'm going to the track today and I decided I'd gut my car for the first time to see how much it'll help my times... I gutted the entire back..panels, speakers, decking, seats, etc.., also removing the floor mats and passanger seat. Went to the scale and the car weighed in at 2375lbs with almost a half tank of gas and me inside, so I'm guessing I'll be around 2365-2370lbs on empty by the time I get to the track (whatever @ 1/2 tank weighs). Oh well, if I can gain .1 faster in the quarter then I guess it helped... last time I ran full interior, empty tank so... I'll have to weigh the car once I put it all back together to see what the reduction was.

The site seems a bit slow, but it looks like good info.

According to that site, the 1999-’00 Si coupe weighs 2612 lbs.

hmm, I kinda find it hard that all that **** in the back weighs 237 lbs all together...maybe I guess, just seems like it'd only weigh like 137 lbs in stead... anythings possible I guess.

I think I've seen before that it was 2601 Ibs. but what he posted seems right enough, the 2612 Ibs.

which track are you going to Eric? I want to run my car soon with the stock motor to see what I can do. I think PR is going tonight, but I am spending time with my girl. When is the next time there is a test and tune?

What's so hard to believe? You said you removed the seats, and the front passenger seat, so I'm assuming all the seats are out except driver. Seems about right by the time you add the speakers, panels, all that little stuff.

That chart says i weigh 2390. When i weighed GUTTED w/out me i was 2430. I don't think that chart is accurate.

Honda wrote that specific car weight in one of the two books that came with the car. That site showed my car weight of 2443....my books says 2323. Just go outside and look through your honda books.
