haha, looks like someone took the tape style thin side moldings and stuck in below the body line where its supposed to go...haha
more than likely you can just peel it off
maybe use heat gun, and peel it off..if it wont come off still try heating and using fishing line

my girlfriend has them on her car 95 cx. I'm in Canada maybe you guys in the states just don't get them like that.
