Umm, typical riceboy. Nah man, those numbers are way too high. Unless ofcourse you have some sick bumpsticks in there. Go by what stock idle is, there is no reason whatsoever to raise the idle if you dont have major engine work

if you want the power off the line, then get your revs up before you race... not through your idle. that kind of idle will **** up your launches.

What can I do to get better revs then besides doing the throttle cable deal?

if your idle is too high, your car won't even make it to 1st gear.

leave the cable alone!!!!!!

Base warm idle should be below 900 rpm (ECU reasons) and is adjusted with the bypass screw. The Throotle cable should have 1/8" to 1/4" deflection when properly adjusted.

HAHA If you just want to take of hard Leave the clutch in and rev to around 3500-4500 and when your ready dump the clutch and errrrr!!!seeee those tires spin. You dont have to adjust your idle and have it waste gas like a mo fo. instead just do this when ever you want to lanch hard it's probably diff for your setup but just try it and adjust your foot accordingly.
