whats the standard compression ratio for my 95 civic?
I have a 95 civic 1.6 d16 engine v-tech. what is the stock compression of my vehicle? I was planning on getting 9:1 low comprssion pistons with rods and gaskets etc, then putting 10 lbs of boost with a 100 wet shot of nitrous. as well as a stage 2 organic exedy clutch which should hold about 350 hp.. thank you!!

If you can't even spell VTEC you shouldn't be boosting your motor to 10 pounds and then running a 100 shot. Oh, and by the way, your stock compression ratio is 9.2:1

Yes it was. v-tech is NOT the way you spell VTEC.

I don't get this, you're telling me to **** off because you're a moron.
Anyway, i'll try to get technical here. You can run 10psi easily on a stock d16z6. Upgrade your fuel pump, injectors, FPR, cam gear and get a good engine management system like Hondata and get that bitch tuned. Now, for the 100 wet shot, that might be a little more difficult.
Adding another 100HP with nitrous you're probably going to be pushing 300 or so WHP on a d-series, which means you'll need to sleeve your block, upgrade the rods, forged pistons, rod bearings, rod bolts, head bolts, and new oem everything. Now, to me that doesnt sound very economical. Personally, i'd just get an LS motor and turbo that without nitrous. You could push 300+ hp easily on stock internals for a lot cheaper and a lot less work than a d-series. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
Oh yeah, and "f-ck you too"
