whats with the shake ? ? ?
Problem...
I have a 98 ferio, and between 70mph and about 75mph and sometimes between 60mph and 65mph, and durring heavy breaking, i have a slight shimmy in the stearing wheel, i have 17's on it now, but ive had them ballanced twice since this started, it started when i spun out on the Jerzy TP exit ramp at about 60 w/ a flat that i didnt know i had. i also hear clicking sounds when i shift the cars weight from front to back or left to right sometimes, it feels like it would be a problem with the front wheels if they arent ballanced right and the clicking sound is comming from the front of the car, i realy hope i dont have a cracked axel but i dont know what else it could be, any suggestions?
ps: this is my first post on this sight

a shimmy or vibration in the wheel solely during braking is related to brakes only. its your rotors warped. you need to have your rotors machined flat or get new rotors.
also check your suspension compnenets.
jack your front up and see if tehre is any shimmy in any of the components.
also make sure your lug nuts are tight.
spin the wheel to see if it is bent or out of round.
17's and custom rims usually are not sturdy also people inflate them improperly causing massive stress and wearing them out.
adjust air pressure, check for out of roundess/bentness, replace or machine rotors, check suspension components.

did u put rings on? aftermarket rims are made for a somewhat universal fit. so there is some gap. w.o hub rings the rim will not be parallell to the hub. and when u bolt em up the will slide and basically **** up your hub. it happened to my EK cuz it came wit racing harts on it. and well no rings. caught it fast and just had to bend that metal piece behind the rotor back. had the same clickin noise. maybe post a pic of where the noise is comin from?

Re: whats with the shake ? ? ? (lswift)
thanks for all your help.....
i have hub rings, and the rims have been checked and arent bent, i check the tires about once a week, ill have 2 check the rotors that seams to b the most likely problem, ive noticed the car isnt breaking as well as it has in the past, even with new pads...
as for the susupention components, most of them are being changed this weekend

well if u jus changed the pads esp to something aftermarket for more stopping, they just eat the hell out of the rotor faster. besides new rotors are a good thing. i saw someone selling brembo blanks on here for a discount. here ya go https://honda-tech.com/zerosearch
