I take my LS to 7400. But tachs aren't known to be 100% accurate.

exactly, where is everyone coming up with 7,200(single cam vtec redline?) dont post unless you know what you are talking about

electronic fuel cut at 7200.

tachs are not close to 100 % accurate. my old sohc vtec tach was a little over 200 rpms higher than my actual motor speed (found this out on the dyno)

Tach is 6800, cutoff is 7200.

There is no power though at this point. Try shifting around 6200.

skunk2eg ???? that last time i checked a LS and B20B were dohc (dual over head cams) noe sohc(single over head cams)

cutoff on my tach on a 91 gauge cluster is at ~7k
