Whats the perfect fuel pressure for a 1994 civic coupe with a d16z6 engine?
As the title says because I am running rich and a lot of people have suggested that I might have high fuel pressure so I buying a fuel pressure regulator. I have just a 2.5" cold air intake and a 2.25" catback. Should that effect my fuel pressure or should I have it set to the stock fuel pressure setting anyway despite the boltons? No header yet too. Also, is the fuel pressure constant in idle and while running or does it rise as the engine is run? If so, I just need the setting that my fuel pressure should be at idle. Sorry is some of this sounds kinda special, this fuel system is kinda new to me. But since I'm running rich, I figured it must be the fuel pressure. Some other people have suggested that it might be the map sensor but I thought I would get a check engine light if that were the case, but I don't have one. Plus my O2 sensor went bad before and I got a check engine code for that but I replaced it with a new one and no check engine codes since then.

Wooooooooooooooo, their's a stock fuel pressure regulator in my civic? If so, can't I just use that to adjust the fuel pressure? Do I have to buy an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator?
