Really...I want X5 door panels in my civic. Once you figure out how to put the integra ones in, can you help me?

scuzz's comment came out wrong. i'm sure he meant:
When I go to the market, I ask my butcher for a good steak. He picks one out, and I trust him. I'd rather not look up a cow's *** and argue with him.
Applied in this situation:
Bauley found you good information saying its hard to do. Impossible? Nothing is. Take pimp my ride. I didn't think anyone would be stupid enough to tack on a 3-Series Front End to a Ford Escort, but gee, I was wrong. So, if you're willing to put up with some fabrication, good luck to ya, and yes, it's "possible."

Actually that is not true... i got mine to fit like factory. It was alot of work and beers but it came out pretty much flawless. I took the vinyl of the panels cut the fiber glass out around where it hits... layed down some new fiberglass from walmart and bam got that part tackled...
2nd problem is if you have noticed or tryed to mock up the panels already... the top of the panel in the corner by the mirror adjustment. If you have noticed it doesn't fit for **** and the dash sits slighty higher about 2 1/2 in i couldn't stand that... so i got some of that foam insulation that yellow **** (called good stuff) and foamed up that entire area.... shaved and sanded down to shape then layed a layer of Fiberglass over that... bam thats tackled fit and look ******* perfect...
3rd problem is recovering them. I tryed ACC customs in Westminster and a bunch of other places with no luck they wont lay down vinyl... and leather alone is 350 just for material... so i bought some offline and gave it a shot. turned out like *** cause i had no clue what i was doin and they people were right u can redo the vinyl on that type of panel... its apparently molding from the factory so about $100 in material and many attempts later i said expletive it.... got some primer, textured black paint, and a polyurethane clear to give it somewhat of a soft feel... and i sprayed some sound deadening on the back so it just wasn't plastic and fiberglass rattling around... I might go back and try to wrap them agian cause i was getting real good/ close with it... my patience just always ran out and i started to expletive **** up and i am a perfectionist.
k, so i know there is prolly a shitload of confusion or misspelled words in there i typed this in like 5 sec because i am tired of people bashing the teg setup it ******* rocks and looks great and is very useful... but i am just tryin to give some hope to a local... it takes a good amount of hours but mine fit like factory so expletive anyone who says they look like ****... and the gaps on the side of the dash just use some hardend black foam(also looks factory)( the foam use to pack computer parts with)
