Default whats the ideal air/fuel ratio for a y8 ??

a friend got ahold of a wideband, and i wonna tune my car a bit

any idea's on what the ideal air to fuel ratio is ??

13.5 somewhere in that range

Get it tuned into the best range with 13.5. that way you get good mileage and you wont be running rich or to lean that way you have no worries

at WOT you make maximum power right around 13.5-13.8.

If you don't believe me look on the interweb. I have mine at 14.7 at idle and it runs great. Good gas mileage as well.

13.2-13.8 is good for a N/A motor at WOT . Good luck with your tuning.


I need an AFC. Mines about 12.5:1
