What's a good price (Canadian dollar) for new engine?
Possibly looking to replace my '92 civic's D15B7 engine which consumes oil with a better engine...Not looking for anything exotic, maybe just a D15Z1 or D16Z6. I wanna do the swap myself but I don't really know what I can expect to pay for the engine...I have been quoted as high as $1200 for an engine from Japan with, supposedly, 50 000 kms on it.
Any advice?

well you can get the JDM D15B with ECU, tranny, and everything you need for about 1000CDN from a few places here in Canada, totaljdm.com is a good spot, and good guys to deal with, they are 749USD and 100USD for shipping.....
