This isn't something that was said but I laughed for a while when I saw it. It was a mustang with a nissan GTR emblem on it. Thats what I like to call the pep boys touring package

I am 17, and hang out with alot of guys my age who dont really know anything about cars. I have a GSR EK with I/h/e and a bunch of suspension. Its a decent car for only having it 6 months and buying it dead stock. From the right people, it gets complimented, but from everyone else, I get, "The motor looks aight, but when are you putting the body kit on?"

there was a guy with a v6 old camaro look face to face with my intercooler . and say...."is your car turboed?"
there was guy in a civic who told my my black 15in itr rims were too big for my car , because 17in konig's are too big , he thought they were konigs.

i had a guy come up to me and ask if my interior was stolen . because its gutted. i said yes they stole the stock interior and left a recaro srd drivers seat.

another good one , "why the hell did you spend all that money on the car ,and not put altezzas on it?"

ive had this one 4 or 5 times. "does it have a motor in it?" hmm let me think about that one.

i had some girl ask me if my car had nipple rings (sparco hoodpins)

i had an older gentlemen pull up to me and tell me my car blew a tire , because he herd a large blow of air......i told him it was my blow off valve , and he said i should go have it fixed.

ahahah i just remember this one , i have some friends with 5.0's , and this guy with a 93 cobra pulled up , and said whats this piece of **** ricer doing here not knowing it was mine...i said i dont know the owner of that car , but it looks like it would stick its finger up your cars ***....he got red in the face and said , i smoke those little rice burners all day long . i said run him , he asked , well whos is it . i walked over and started the car . we drove to a spot real quick to **** around. we raced and my car did exactly what i told him it would do.....he drove home. there is nothing that gives me more pleasure than shutting up a muscle car owner.....

i too have seen the gtr emblems on mustangs , i had a guy convinced they were on the cobra R..... i was like no you moron those are nissan skyline emblems , he said what the **** no there not . i showed him that they werent cobra R emblems and were nissan skyline emblems , he felt so dumb......

In my old h22a 90 accord. Took someone for a ride while I was trying to sell it, and ripped it up in 2nd to about 7800 rpms, and he said
"why do you shift so far past your redline" (STOCK TACH = 6200 rpms)

Also, when buying a gsr front clip, the guy I who was selling it was a complete moron, so I asked him if I could attach the front clip to my car with JB weld, the guy said If I used enough I could.

At a show I went to last summer I had a judge come up and glance at my interior (gutted), look quick at the engine and not realize what was in there (h22 swap), then look at me and say, "Well, you've got a lot of work to do."

I also overheard this at another show:
