My insurance agent is trying to tell me that 00 si seats are no diffrent from 96 and up civics.... I know that the cloth and headrests are not the same as well as the height adjustment. Anything else, thanks.

They're definitely different. Si seats are kinda like GSR's. They have the open headrest and more lateral support. Your agent is pulling your leg.

They always try to pull that! They look to the most inexpensive (for them) seats that would fit, and they try to push em. When my friends 93 Integra got broken into, they tried to give him 91 seats, that were a different design, and they were fading on the tops, damn insurance agents!

yea, he doesnt want to pay... I know that Honda uses some of the same parts. anything else.

The side bolsters are alot stiffer and higher than the ones found on my dx. And isnt there lumbar support found on the seats also?

Height adjustment, adjustable lumbar support (just like Integra), open headrest, and different fabric. The extra lateral support that was mentioned is open to question. Not trying to sound like a pompous ***, but I've owned every generation of Civic from 89 on. I even went as far as to compare my seats when I had my 00 Si, to my friends 97 EX. The only physical differences were the above mentioned. The lateral supports on the side kind of seemed a little stiffer, but like I said, it wouldn't be something you could notice without putting two seats side by side and tugging on both seats for 20 minutes. This should end all questions you have. Your welcome.

Yeah, no "real" difference between the two seats other then the open headrest and the fabric. The adjustable driver's seat (2 ***** on the side) came on 99+ Civics so it's not isolated to just Si's. I also highly doubt there is any additional lateral support over EX,DX, or LX Civic seats.

well im getting $1200 thanks to you guys. ohh and adding to that i should be recieving more $$$$ for the lumbar and height adjustment.

what happened to the stock seats? they get stolen or something? and why would someone steal SI seats.. they suck in my opion, i would go out and get some nice GSR leather seats..

STOLEN they were wraped in leather... Im more than likely going to get some used gsr seats and pay Ben his money.
