whats the difference in oil weights?
what the title says
why should I run 10w30 in my honda and not 5w20 or 20w50?
im not worried about synthtitcs or anything....i was justwonfering

If you look in your Honda user manual it will give you a good explaination of what types of oil you can use and why so I would suggest you do some reading. To quickly answer your question, the different weights of oil are used in cars depending on temperatures more than anything. A lower weight oil 5w30 will flow better at colder temps and significantly reduce "dry start wear and tear". Heavier weight oil 10w40 tends to protect an engine better that operates in higher temperature climates.

the more weight....means more viscosity
300 and something post and you have no ideal about OIL??? Have you been hanging in apperance?
