whats the difference between z6 and y8 head??
I know z6 is 92-95, y8 is 96+ but whats the difference between them? and people say z6 makes more compression when doing mini me swap? so whats the difference? i would see more power with z6 or same with y8?

Y8 - smaller combustion chamber, more compression
Z6 - flows better, more power
It's really arbitrary...just use whichever one you can get your hands on. My rule of thumb is for OBD1 do Z6 and OBD2 do Y8

ditto. nothing wrong with either one but for more power overall definitly go with the Z6. i love mine.
