What's the difference between a vtec and a non-vtec distributor? OBD1 D series
Is there even a difference? I have a Z6 block with a Y5 (vtec-e) head and I'm using a d15b7 distributor. Everything seems to be working fine. Is there anything I'm missing out on?

I've always been under the assumption that all d series distributors of the same OBD are the same.
