as the ? states, also how do you tell them apart because i ordered a II from steve at hmotors and got my engine, but my friends ragging on my that i got the wrong engine because my head stamps ( little clockish looking stamps above the header) say 91, can that be right, should i be getting some money back?

one way to tell is valve cover but it could of been changed

the vtec letter is bigger then dohc in sir2
sir2 are hydro while sir1 are cable

i doubt steve would do that
