What's the difference between a 2000 Si exhaust and a 2000 non-Si civic Axleback exhaust?

What's the difference between a 2000 Si exhaust and a 2000 non-Si civic Axleback exhaust?
OK, I'm getting a stock 2000 Civic Si Axleback exhaust/muffler from my friend to replace my regular 2000 civic coupe/sedan axleback muffler.
What are the differences between these 2 axleback mufflers?
1. I know that the stock 99-00 Si exhaust pipe is slightly wider than the regular EK muffler pipe
2. and also the Si muffler has a Chrome exhaust tip attached
Anything else? is there better flow? more power? more or less restrictive?

i thought it was just the tip on the end of the muffler..i never really noticed the piping so im not sure...just thought id be a post *****

I heard that it is also less restrictive, is that true? If so, what does that mean?
What advantages would the slightly bigger piping have? better flow of more power?
Can you acually feel the flow compared to my stock regular EK axleback?

yeah i did notice a difference going from my stock cx muffler to a custom 2.25" piping, resonator and 00 si muffler. but the main reason i went and got one is because, i want that sleeper look plus it doesnt really attract unwanted attention.
its not loud at all, you hear my intake more than the muffler. Go for it.

main reason i went and got one is because, i want that sleeper look plus it doesnt really attract unwanted attention.
is the sedan and coupe axleback the same length?

it won't make much power difference, since you are just changing the axleback.
your catback piping will still be of the smaller size. All you might notice is a little louder, not too much since its still oem.

it won't make much power difference, since you are just changing the axleback.

if youre gonna get the axle back only, i dont think you'll feel any difference using your stock b-pipe. thats a "bottle neck" right there. get a highflow cat w/ 2.25 piping resonator and stock si muffler. thats my set up and i like it.
