Whats the color or my car? No paint code!
I need to figure out the color of my car. The paint code is not on the door pilar. It was painted black by a shop a year or 2 ago.
What type of black could it be. One guy at a paint shop said its still a honda paint. Its black with very small and spaced metallic / pearl chips in it. Its by no means a fully metallic paint.
Im thinking it nh 503-p Granada black pearl. But i do not know if its pearl or metallic.
Suggestions

Its actually black with micro dust size rainbow reflective particles with 20-40 parts per square inch. So its not pearl at all. If its not honda paint, does anyone know of a black similar to what i just described

hello, i've been painting cars for about nine years. all you have to do is go to a bodyshop and ask them if you can see their color swatch(color variants'). its' probably nh-503p which is one of the colors the 99-00 si came in. from the pics it looks good.that is the only real way to find out for sure what color you have if there isn't the color vin in the door jamb/not original color. ask if you have any more. questions

Report the VIN number to a honda dealer and they should be able to tell you what paint code that particular car had (the original color, assuming that's what it was before it was repainted a year ago...)
