keeping it dirty or clean??? I mean with all the salt on the road is it best to just wash it off or keep it dirty????

personally i wait til theres no water on the road ie snow has melted before i wash mine no need to spend all that time only to have it screwed up in one trip

i wash my car off 2-3 times a week in the winter to keep all the salt and **** off

exactly. You need to get the road salt off ASAP before it starts eating at your finish. Spend 2 bucks at the do-it-yourself car wash and just give it a quick wash. even if you don't wash your car at all, most likely nothing will happen after one winter, but it adds up winter after winter and in the long run, you'll be screwed.

i would definatley think it would be better to get the salt off the car... im sure its not good for it!

Buy a winter beater and put the car in the garage.

if u have to drive it it would be better to do some quick washes to at least get the dirt and salt off. no need for some half-day long job, just enough to clean off the crap. if you're driving it around in dirty weather its bound to get dirty again real soon, but at least you won't have layers of salting eating away at your car.

From what i was told by a car detailer, it's actually bad to do this because everytime you wash the car, it will get wet and the hidden places that doesn't get cleaned off completely will start rotting. Salt + water is a perfect recipe for rust.

True....but still hondas are gonna rust/corrode so you might as well do what you can to protect the paint on it so yes wash it before the salt builds up it and your car will look better longer.
