Whats the best way to blow $1000?
Alright, I'm doing some work for this guy and I'm just wondering what would be the best bang for his buck. He has a 94 Civic EX (D16Z6 / SOHC Vtec). He doesn't race his car or anything but he does want some more power out of it. This is also his daily driver and he doesn't want his parents to find out.
Right now he only has an Ebay intake and a Fart can. Personally if it was me I would suggest a better intake, Header with a 2 inch collector, 2.25-2.5 inch crush bent header-back exhaust with an apexi muffler and a Camshaft. Thats my opinion though.
What do you guys think would be best?

His parents haven't noticed the fart can sticking out from under the bumper?

i know this girl who will do a lot for 1000 dollars.
seriously, he could buy a used greddy kit without I/C or BOV for under 1000 easy and his parents most likely would never know. thats my vote.

I agree with that. Get a nitrous kit, a v-afc and a fuel pump.
1. He can hide the nitrous kit in a gym bag.
2. If his parents ask he can say the v-afc is an equalizer.
3. Fuel pump they'll never see

What, something like a DSM? I'm sorry but we want to keep reliability as a factor.
Don't try to tell me that DSMs are reliable, I've had 3 of them in the past. All 91s, a 1.8, 2.0NT and 2.0 AWD Turbo. A very easy model to work on and one of the strongest engines (6 bolt) DSM has and I still couldn't keep my 2.0s running...

Rap the money, preferably benjamins, around a ***** and proceed to move shaft in and out of mouth slowly.
