Well you can't really buy good coilovers with $5-600, so your best bet would be a good rear subframe brace with a sway bar. Thats the single best mod I've done to my suspension so far.

I got newspeed springs and dropzone shocks and struts all around and it cost about 400. My car doesnt bounce and rides sexy.

your not gonna be able to build a suspension for 500-750, i have to go with OMGWTFBBQ, subframe brace and sway bars is a huge plus. If you decide to get coil-overs, i love the Tein SS in my 99 EX, expensive but hella worth it. Make sure you also invest in a nice camber kit too, i have Skunk 2 in mine. Over all suspension work can get expensive but is going to give you amazing results.

Ive got a 96ex and planning on throwing some Koni Yellows w/ Ground controls on it. Wanted to also get a ASR brace w/ CTR sway bars. Figure it should tickle my fancy for the time being.

function forms are reputable. You can find some used tein or koni/gc for around 600-750

Good suggestion. The CTR rear bar will bolt up, but you'll want a subframe brace.

The EM1/CTR front bar will need EM1 LCAs.

The Koni/GC setup would be recommended as it's a quality setup in your price range.

i would do what this guys doing and skip the camber kit. i took the same approach as this guy in my 94 ex after hours of research on h-t.

D2 = Garbage.

How can you compare D2s to PICs? PICs actually have R&D and engineering hours put into them. I know the dudes from PIC. They're local.

My friend had D2s on his 98. He hated them as much as I did.

we are all forgetting what kind of driving are you going to be donig? do u want a handling suspension or a drag race set up. i have had excellent luck in the past with koni yellows and ground controls i think out of the 5-6 suspension setup i have tried on hatchs thats the best set up for the money.

Yes, you mentioned that in your OP. What are you using the suspension FOR? Auto-X, Track days, daily driving, etc. Ah, F it. Listen to hoo my gosh. I'm not going to spoon-feed you.
