what you would pay for a '92 civic si?
well...that's pretty much the question. i found a 5 speed, '92 hatch si here in the bay area with just over 90,000 miles on it. just wondering what you guys would pay for it. it's got small parking dings/dents pretty much all over, a crack on the bumper also. new tires on it. inside is pretty clean, pretty much the same under the hood cept for dust.
guy is asking for 4800.....lowest he'll go is 4500.
remember, this is the bay area. cars ain't too cheap here compared to other states.

Bay Area car prices are always high ... if its in good shape, and not much rust or dents, 4500 for a Si in the bay isnt bad .... lotta my boys live out in the bay, lord knows they've paid small fortunes for their cars .... its the only place where a studio apartment can run you a grand a month .... good luck.

heres a thought, look for a car out of state, or out of area. dont give in to almost 5g because you dont wanna either look some more, or go somewhere else and look..
4800-2500=2300$ in parts you could be spending on your 92 si AFTER you bought it.

Good Si hatches in my area are going for up to $9000! Seriously, a dealer had a red 94 Si hatch with 67K on it for that. I couldn't believe it! Someone told me it ended up selling for around $8200.

I just bought a '94 Civic Si. It has 68,033 original miles. One rust spot by the rear bumper, and I have to fix passenger side outter boot. Interior is clean. I paid $3000. The guy even had the original raido code card.

have people out of state that you somewhat know, or through H-T check out cars for you. Then just fly to get the car, you'll probably save a bundle even with the flight figured in.

if you guys want to a sweet deal I say go to cars.com and then look for cars in delaware area...**** hasn't caught on here much..i mean maryland is right next to delaware and the scene is way way bigger you know...delaware is like 20 years behind...so you should be able to get a civic cheap here...just look for zip code 19901 and do like 500 mile radius you will see what I mean.
