What are you running for suspension in your Del Sol?
As of right now i'm on eBay adjustables with stock struts. I plan on changing that next spring, but i'm on a budget at the moment and thats all i could really afford to get for the time being. I'm just curious at to what other people are running in their car.

I'm not really sure as far as the budget goes, but it'll just be my DD. I'll be driving an hour to and from school monday-friday. Doesn't have to be anything special, i'd just like to be low and (somewhat) comfortable.

S tech's will drop your car about 2'', however, the rates are VERY soft, and you may enconter rubbing issues
Google tein s tech del sol or something like that.

And unless you have a J swap, the engine really doesn't matter
Drive the car aggressivly, and you will see exacly why I don't like those springs. Rates are simply too low for the drop.

Konis and Ground Controls. There's a misconception that you need the "Koni" design sleeves. I have the generic sleeves and just have them sitting on the spring perches and they work fine.
I think the shelf spring rates are too soft. If I could go back, I'd have gotten something stiffer.
EDIT: If anyone wanted to, I'd gladly trade springs.

Be prepared to have the sleeves mushroom and split over time then. That is if you don't have any o-rings installed.

I want to stay around the $500 ish mark for the whole setup. Like i said in my op, i'm going to wait until spring to get a new set of struts/springs.

I'm talking about when the time comes in the spring, i'm not getting new springs/struts right now and then again in the spring. lol. I'm going to run what I have now for the rest of the year.

Yeah thats the plan lol. But I want to be conservative with my money, because I would like to also maybe do an engine swap, and get some body work/paint taken care of.
