Well, I know for sure B16A with no # after is Japanese spec EF specs. A2 is the USDM 99-00 Si, and I think Japanese EGs...A3 is the Del Sol. Do U know how to tell if its cable or hydro tranny? Go look at some motor sites...Hydro is the correct way to go for an EG, but cable works with a conversion kit.
B16A = OBD0
B16A hydro = OBD1
B16A2 = OBD2
B16A3 = OBD1
am I right???

if you have a s1 tranny than it is a cable tranny which means your motor is most likly a obd0 crx or xsi b16a. 88-91 motor. yes it will go into your car, most people on this board will tell you to get rid of it for a newer swap that bolts right in, but if you have the right parts laying around you can make it work. ive done it. if you dont have the right parts(hydro tranny,obd1 ecu,obd1 injectors,) than i would try and sell it for the right swap
