what would you guys do? (somewhat car related) UPDATE!!!
Hey guys and gals I have a little dilemma. I had purchased a benen upper strut bar for my EK in November. The person I bought it off of told me he couldnt send it out because the UPS in his area was on strike. I saw no problem with that, I could wait, I did business with this guy before ( he has a shop in northern ca) with no problems at all. He told me he wasnt sure when the strike would end but couldnt last more than 2 weeks. Also at this time I brought up that I was looking for some 99-00 hatch tails, he said he knew a guy in FL that had them for sale. I thought about it thought it was a good idea to purchase them from him seeing how hard/expensive the 99-00 tails cost. I dont see this guy online for about 2 weeks (thats how we communicated) and all of a sudden his sn comes on and I ask him what the status of my order is. Its his gf saying that he got into a bad accident after he came back from LA from picking up some hoods. I felt really bad for him at this time and just gave her my wishes for a speedy recovery. So lets fast forward to this week, Im saying to myself, if this guy is still in the hospital he must have some life threating injury, but I thought that was unlikely. I email him at his company email and ask him for the status. I go on the company website and get the AIM online help sn's, nobody's ever online. So I decide to go on my old sn and to my amazament I see the guy's sn, hes on away and idle so I just ask him whats going on and if he can give me a status. Nothing..I get another SN and that guy told me that he would talk to him (main guy) and see whats going on because waiting 3 months for a part is crazy. He never emails me back so now im getting a little pissed and think that I got scammed. What should I do now? Should I wait longer? Should I drive 2 hours up to his shop? What do you guys think?
I just called the store and a guy answered, I asked if he was the owner and he said no. I went ahead and left a message pretty much explaining the above. The guy was in shipping and inventory and didnt know of the situation, he knew of my benen bar because he shipped it. After telling him everything that was on my mind he insisted that they were a business and they arent out to scam me and get my money. I told them thats honestly how I felt now because of the blocking of my sn and the failure to respond to my emails. In the end he says that he will send out my benen bar on monday and will send me my new design DC lower tie and front lower bars when they come in later in the week. About the taillights he has to call FL to see who has the taillights. Thats about it. Thanks again guys

breathe...just realized it is really long and grammical errors will come up.. ive read posts before where flames came up for spelling errors...just wanted to cover my *** before any flames haha
