skunk2 cams (stage 1) = $725
cam gears = $200
VAFC = $200-300
dyno time = $100-150
4-1 header $300
all should be around $1500 if you do the work yourself, should be good for 165-170whp

go with everything metioned above except I would recommend stage 2 cams.(same as JUN3s)
or you can work out your suspension with that money.

You could get a really nice suspension setup with that kind of money. Might even have some left over to beef up the brakes. IMO, good suspension and brakes that could stop a bus make for a very fun ride.
You could always replace the clutch and flywheel also - the B16A2 will rev faster obviously (with that new flywheel). I used to own a 00 Si, and the clutch is adequate, but could be much better.
Do you want to go forced or stay natural?
You could also get some cams, cam gears, and something to control fuel delivery. But you really need a dyno to make the most of this last set of mods. Of course, if you go with engine work, prepare to spend a lot of money (it's addictive!). Hope this helps give you some ideas.

i say a full coilover set-up and big brakes like the guy above me said. you can't go wrong with that.
also you can sell your current tranny if it is in good condition and buy a ITR tranny or you can just buy a LSD for your tranny. lightened flywheel is a plus too.

dont need big brakes, just some good fluid (ate super blue is my fancy) and some good pads, possibly SS braided brake lines as well. i have carbotech panther plus brake pads (www.carbotecheng.com/main.html) and they have dramatically improved braking. sick on the track, sick on the street. and as far as the first list mentioned, dont forget a 2.5" cat or straight pipe for that header if it has a 2.5" collector

Thanks for all your input guys...I'm still debating on both N/A or Forced Induction, I've been doing a little research, most of the guys who have Forced induction have problems tuning, most mention they are unpridictable....I hear going N/A is a little easier to keep up, I 01' ITR springs on factory struts, I'll consider shocks and antisway later...I also have Cross drilled rotor with race pads... I just want a little more pwr...I don't think I'll go NOS...

I say all that was posted was good, however, on my B18C5 Powered EG the one mod that made the biggest difference was going from stock USDM TypeR geared Tranny to a 2001 JDM TypeR tranny.
The 4.785 Final Drive in the JDM TypeR Tranny is the only mod that consistantly gives you drastic increases in all gears and through the whole range of RPMs. Plus an LSD is great to have.
I say you get one. I got mine with 27,000 KM on it for $1500. You sell your existing tranny and that is extra money to spend. Also you just swap the trannies and drive it and enjoy more power in every gear. This mod requires no tuning.
That is my 2 cents.
