B18C, what would you do in my case. LS/Vtec or B16 sleeved? I have a CTR head to go on whatever block!
Please, your insight would be appreciated!

B16's are great for auto-x, but not much good for anything else. There just isn't enough torque compared to a GSR or LS even.
If you're thinking of doing a LS/VTEC or CRVTEC make sure you do your research. The engines were never designed to rev past 8k. So make sure you do a few things like balancing, Z10 crank girdle, etc......
That way you can be sure that your new engine will last a long time.
Import review is a good place to find dyno charts of different engines.

Jeff is a good guy too. He can answer a lot of LS/VTEC & CRVTEC engine questions.
HTH.

I have built a LS/Vtec last year with much success. I am aware of what you have to do! I just figure I will want to rev it out to somewhere around 8300-8400. I have spoke with Jeff(Importreview) through emails and he said I will be good up to 8500.
I will be using ARP rod bolts and head studs. CTR pistons with a complete CTR head. I have a OBD1 Skunk 2 ecu. I have already purchased a brand new Vtec Oil and water pump. I just have to buy the Stainless line and misc parts.
I am in just a great debate of what to do cuz this is my daily driver. I need something to rely on day in and day out!
I have a GSR block girdle, can I use that?

id go with jdm. he gave you an exact cubic centimeter answer. where as hxman said "i THINK.... " then he gave u a ballpark figure .. "1.8-1.9" which doesn't seem to precise.

Math doesn't lie CHB.
Pi times R squared, multiplied by the stroke gives you the volume of 1 cylinder. Multiply that by the # of cylinders, and divide by 1000. That will give you your total cubic centimeters.
