Default what would be the most streight foward swap

i have a 99 civic ex and i am looking in to a swap
i want to it to be pretty streight foward
any info would be good

Boost gets you laid and its faster than a swap and cheaper and easier to put together/install imo

The most straightforward swap for your car would definately be a b16a2 out of a 99-00 civic si. It's basically a plug and play swap, just do a little searching and you'll find everything you need.

I would also do a turbo d-series setup. You can make more power for close to the same price as the cheapest b series motor, and a replacement d-series motor is very cheap

yeah i have a homemade turbo kit i just need managment and a downpipe and charge pipe but i was just thinking about getting a swap and next summer boosting that instead for a more powerful set up
