Carbon fiber hood. Fitment was awful. Ricers kept trying to race me. Put it back to stock soon after.
"OEM replacement" carpet. Didn't fit for ****.
Rear engine mount insert. Too much vibration for such a weak engine. Not much gain over having inserts in the front mounts.

It wasn't a "mod" at all - it was just a really bad idea that I didn't exactly think through...
I was trying to make my 509 Z28 beat my boss's Viper, so I got the brilliant idea of sticking a 300 nozzle that a full blown race guy had onto my setup that was timed for 100.
Well the nitrous backfired at about the 1/8th and my intake filter caught fire.
Kinda hard to talk **** when the top of ur engine's on fire, killed the engine when the smoke covered my view, like 4 guys with fire extinguishers got me b4 I got into the return lane and put the top of my motor out. I didn't know intakes can catch fire - but apparently they can.
Looking like a retard for the lose?
Yeah, there was a bunch of pple laughing at me .

Re: (Hans Moleman)
worst mod i probably did was buying a FPR off ebay for my DA and after going to adjust the pressure the tip broke off and it was like 100 degrees out and i was flipping out lol. oh and the set of tokico blues and skunk2 springs for my DA those sucked so bad i hated every minute of that suspention. everything else i could say was quite tastefull, and yes i liked the clear corners then lol

Re: (phyzJunkieCivic)
Not really the worst mod, but the worst decision made.
Installing my aftermarket exhaust in the middle of January 2005. Me and my friend didn't do it right, so the exhaust was leaking everywhere. A couple months afterwards I heard a metal scraping noise, it ended up being the heat shield rubbing on the piping. I ended up spending the price of the exhaust itself on repairs. Shoulda jus got it done by a shop, ESP in winter

Putting a vertical door kit on my 93 coupe 4 years ago. It was cool, and I still think its not the most horrible thing in the world, BUT, that money couldve been used else where and Im sure I wouldve been happier spending it elsewhere.

I guess I'm lucky. My worst mod ever was an AEM CAI. It was stolen though, but my stock airbox was in my parent's attic on the east coast. My step dad convinced my mom that sending my stock airbox wasn't worth the $36 to ship, so I had to get an AEM SRI instead after not being able to quickly find a stock airbox.
The SRI has since been replaced by a stock airbox.

For my 1992 Stealth (3000GT):
removing the resonators from the stock pipe only to put them back on cause it sounded horrible
Reverse Indiglo Guages...took 14 hours and were so dim I couldn't see ****.
Euro Clear Corner lights that didn't fit cause they were for the 94-98 3kgt.
5inch tip N1 style muffler
Taking an RPS clutch and Fidanza flywheel to a Clutchmart for install. They fucked up the PP and disk...and couldn't figure out hwo to install the flywheel. Had to buy a new clutch and send back the RPS and Fidanza.
1993 Civic EX:
traded stock inner tales for Red and Clear
Rota C8's with Homemade polished lips(not my doing)
1995 Civic EX:
Buying car in general...should have left the scene when I had the chance.
I guess I quickly learned my mistakes after that Stealth. And for buying the 95' Civic...I should have gone and bought a car to just cruise for work and what not...come back later and have a project car.
