Default what u think

me and my friend are heading to the track tommorow to see who has the faster car...
my car= 92 eg, gsr swap, headers, pulleys, 2.5" cat back, tein coilover, recaro,RC 310cc Injectors, 11lb Flywheel, SRP Pistons (9.1:1)

my friends= 2004 vw gti 1.8t, 3" turboback exhaust, CAI, Giac reflash(30-40 hp)... pulleys????

i just want ur opinions who do u think would win (dont really know anything about VW's)

one, theres no sure fire way of giving you a answer. but i would say the vw if the driver has exp.

this is bench racing. bench racing is not cool and wastes bandwidth.

that being said. It comes down to who the better driver is. you should win in theory because your car is lighter.

we can both drive our cars really well... so with that said... whos car got the edge?

now why would you bump this thread?

anywho, just to let you know, GTi turbo has a lot of high end power, but by looking at what he has for his, i don't think he will meet up to u unless you don't know the extent of all of his upgrades. upgraded pulleys do wonders on the vw design, and the GIAC reflash is quite a good thing. as long as he knows to keep out of turbo lag he'll have quite a killer powerband

you should. my guess. with some good tires, launching would probly determine whos gonna win. VW dont launch too well in my opnion. i think your hgih rev'in is gonna kick, be sure to let us know how it turns out. good luck
