me and my friend are heading to the track tommorow to see who has the faster car...
my car= 92 eg, gsr swap, headers, pulleys, 2.5" cat back, tein coilover, recaro,RC 310cc Injectors, 11lb Flywheel, SRP Pistons (9.1:1)
my friends= 2004 vw gti 1.8t, 3" turboback exhaust, CAI, Giac reflash(30-40 hp)... pulleys????
i just want ur opinions who do u think would win (dont really know anything about VW's)

this is bench racing. bench racing is not cool and wastes bandwidth.
that being said. It comes down to who the better driver is. you should win in theory because your car is lighter.

now why would you bump this thread?
anywho, just to let you know, GTi turbo has a lot of high end power, but by looking at what he has for his, i don't think he will meet up to u unless you don't know the extent of all of his upgrades. upgraded pulleys do wonders on the vw design, and the GIAC reflash is quite a good thing. as long as he knows to keep out of turbo lag he'll have quite a killer powerband
